We had a personal need, in our artwork, of perform an exercise fun. VIDEOMACHO is a game, a vision of the gay culture from the irony and humor.
Videomacho is constructed formally as a pirate television broadcasting, underground and corrosive; it´s a devastating critique of the assumption of the hypermasculine stereotypes, the desired supermacho, but also of cheap homophobia.
Everything is analog VIDEOMACHO, the work is broken, but the errors are not digital, the tape is corroded by the use, as our bodies. VIDEOMACHO is the empire of absurdity, irony and frivolity.
